Victoria Barker Fine Jewellery - Orbital Bracelet

Imagine if you could command the universe, how would you choose to adorn yourself? Perhaps you would capture a moon from the night sky and encircle your wrist with it’s luminous beauty.

The Orbital is inspired by this very idea; a bracelet which orbits your wrist like a bejewelled planet, a jewel which should make you feel powerful and perhaps somewhat mysterious.

Each Orbital is made to order in your choice of precious metals and fine pearls. Each row of pearls are set into cups featuring our signature motif, an intriguing fractal shape found in sand dunes, river valleys and snow-capped mountains.

Choose from Sterling Silver, Vermeil or 18 Carat Gold and combine with white or peacock blue cultured pearls. Our pearls are all hand-chosen by Victoria for their lustre, colour and shape.

Our vermeil plating is 5 microns thick ensuring a lifetime of wear. We use high-palladium 18 carat white gold which has a lustrous grey colour, but can be plated with white rhodium if you prefer, as can our silver.

All of our components, even our chain are made by our workshops, only for us in the UK. We fuse traditional jewellery skills with new technology to create innovative jewels which are distinctively ours. The final assembly of the Orbital can only be completed by Victoria using a technique she has taken years to perfect.

The mystery of Orbital is it's seamless form, a wrist jewel like no other, it has no clasp, rather it gently expands and contracts over the hand allowing for easy wear and removal. Because the weight is evenly dispersed across the bracelet it will always look good and feel good when worn. We are sure you will agree with us that fine jewellery should feel as good as it looks.

The Orbital is a freestanding sculpture and an object d’art in it’s own right. When not being worn it can be enjoyed on view in a display cabinet, we like to think it might spin on it’s axis when not being watched... but then that would be truly magic.
